1st-party self-host
The browser loads /js/flow.js from your domain. WordPress then forwards /api/* endpoints to Snorklee, with no DNS or Nginx setup.
Install test
The settings page runs an HTTP probe that checks the domain, data-site and active mode, standard or self-host.
AI crawler capture
The plugin includes a server beacon to count known AI bots that read your HTML without running JavaScript.

Does self-host require DNS?
Not on WordPress. The plugin creates the required WordPress routes for /js/flow.js and /api/*. DNS or reverse-proxy recipes remain useful for non-WordPress sites.
