How long we keep your data
snorklee only keeps the detail of your traffic for a short while. After that, it holds on to the broad trends alone — enough to follow how your site evolves, without storing more than needed.

Deletion happens on its own
Nothing for you to run: our servers tidy up automatically. In normal times, the detail of each visit is erased after 90 days, leaving only the day-by-day statistics. If that daily calculation fails on a given day, a safety net keeps the detail a little longer — 180 days at most — then erases it no matter what.
Delete it yourself, whenever you want
You stay in control. You can set a site aside (archive it), erase it on the spot, or ask us to remove a specific slice of the data. Erasing right away removes everything about that site: the detail of visits, the statistics, the sessions and the settings.
What we can't do
snorklee never puts a permanent tag on your visitors — a deliberate choice that protects their privacy. The trade-off is that we can't trace "one specific person" through the history. If someone exercises their data rights, we work by site and rough time range, not person by person.
