Weekly client report

From the My sites tab, the "📧 Client report" button sends a summary by email every week, all on its own — designed for agencies who have to report back to their clients.

#What it's for

Once a week, Snorklee sends your client — straight to their inbox — a summary of the last 7 days: the key figures (visitors, page views, time spent, bounce rate, and how they've moved), a chart of the most-read pages, then an overview of AI traffic — how many times AI bots read the site, how many pages assistants looked at live, how many visitors those AIs sent you, and how much weight those visits carry in your human traffic. Every figure is compared with the 7 days before.

All of these are real figures, counted in your statistics. Since August 2026 the report no longer contains a single sentence written by an AI: what your client receives comes straight from your data, untouched.

The AI part only shows up when something actually happened that week: a quiet week won't add an empty section. For the detail (the standout moments, which bot reads what, who does or doesn't respect your robots.txt file), it's all in your dashboard and your weekly briefing: those are topics for running the site, not for the client's summary.

#Configure the report

In the panel, fill in: the client's email, the sender name (your brand), an address to reply to, a logo (https URL), the language, the day and time to send (with time zone), a title (where you can drop in {site}, {date}, {period}), an intro and a signature. Tick the box certifying your client's consent, then Save & activate.

#Test before activating

The "Send me a test email" button sends a copy to you (never to the client), even before you've saved — so you can check that everything looks right. You can also pause the sending or delete it whenever you like.

#Unsubscribe and re-enable

Every email contains an unsubscribe link (plus the standard link that mail apps recognise). If your client unsubscribes, sending stops at once and you're notified by email; a "client unsubscribed" badge appears on the site's row. If they ask for the report again later, the "Re-enable" button (with the same certification) resumes sending.

#Branding and privacy

The email goes out from an authenticated Snorklee domain — so it lands properly in the inbox — but it carries your name and your reply-to address: if the client replies, they're writing to you. If an address is invalid or a complaint comes in, sending stops on its own. No data about a person ever leaves the server: the report holds totals only, and small numbers are rounded so it can never point at any one individual.
